Homework is essential for the reinforcement of skills taught in class as well as building positive work ethics that will carry our students on to higher levels.
Reading Logs will be collected and redistributed on a daily basis. Homework worksheets will be given every day EXCEPT THURSDAYS. Homework will either be Reading or Language Arts. Homework is also due the following day of distribution. Students will need to spend at least 20minutes on Thursday night to review and study for Friday's test. Homework assigned for each week can be submitted by the end of the week for 1/2 credit.
Homework will be based on completion and effort. However, points will be deducted if the quality of the homework shows lack of effort or lack of following directions. Some homework will be randomly selected and graded to check for understanding, effort, and completion.
Classroom, quizzes, projects, and tests are graded on accuracy.
